Gale and Randy Sighting

t took me a whole week to decide to share the following. I was hesitant because
I was afraid that nobody would believe me, especially those who believe Gale and
Randy are strictly friends. But I finally thought what the hell and decided to
do it. And if you choose not to believe it that's fine. I am just stating what I
saw with my own two eyes.
Last Wednesday night my boyfriend and I had a late night dinner at a place
called Parkside Cafe which is located on W. 40th St. Around 11:30 we started
walking down the street towards 5th Ave and then decided to stop and get a cab.
As my boyfriend tried to get a cab to stop, I noticed two men, one tall and the
other shorter standing about fifteen feet away from us. I didn't pay much
attention to them until I turned and got a better look. Standing under the
street light I saw that it was Gale Harold and Randy Harrison from Queer as
Folk. I stood there in complete shock not knowing what to do so I just continued
to stare at them. Gale had his arm around Randy's shoulder and he turned to give
him a kiss. By this point, I was totally out of it. I didn't even realize a cab
had stopped for us. Before getting in, I glanced over one last time in their
direction and I noticed that Gale was getting into a cab followed by Randy.
It ended up that our cab was behind theirs as we went down the street. And the
whole time I never took my eyes off it. They continued straight on W. 40th St,
while we turned onto 5th Ave. It's a week later and I'm still in shock that I
saw them together.Before deleting her LJ she emailed me. I had left a comment on
her LJ asking where Gale had kissed Randy. I was afraid that I would be pushing
it if I asked that and was thinking that she probably wouldn't tell me. But she
did! I asked her if it would be okay to share what she said and I got her
permission.
Okay, she said that Gale kissed Randy on THE LIPS but it was very quick. Almost
like a peck on the cheek, but it was definitely on his lips. They were standing
under the street light at the time, so she got a real good look at the kiss. She
also said that they seemed to be in their own world and she didn't even think
they noticed her and her boyfriend standing so close to them. She also added
that the way Gale had his arm around Randy's shoulder was very, very cute. It
was almost as if he was being protective of him. |
