Episode 601
Ok, guys, here it is. Please comment, let us know what you think, and discuss amongst yourselves. :)
***Setting: Babylon***
Brian leaned against the railing, just outside the VIP room. His favorite, black, v-neck tank top fit a little snugger than it used to, his eyes glazed over the dancing bodies below, covered in sweat and glitter and dirty embraces. His lips turned up at the thought that some things will never change, and as he rubbed the patch of hair on his chin, he grinned at how some things would never stop changing.
His trance was broken as a mess of greasy hair brushed past him. Brandon. And tagging behind, Todd.
“Hey, Todd,” Brian nodded. “How’s it going?”
“Fine,” Todd grinned as Brandon pulled him further toward the VIP room. “I dig your new look.”
“Thanks,” Brian grinned cockily just as he heard Brandon growl and pull Todd all the way into the VIP room.
Brian took one last survey around the dance floor and headed down the stairs where he met Emmett mid-step.
“Emmett,” Brian raised his eyebrow and greeted his friend who was now clearly too inebriated to even make it up the stairs to the VIP room.
“Brian!” Emmett drawled and leaned in a little too close, lazily throwing one arm over Brian’s shoulder.
Brian attempted to hide his look of disgust and instead attempted his good (or bad) deed of the day, “So where’s the hottie from Hazelhurst?”
Brian led Emmett to the lower level as he answered, “Well it turned out we didn’t have much in common other than small-town charm and great sex. But you know, the road to love…” Emmett trailed off and Brian stared at him, maybe wondering if he should get him safely home, maybe thinking up what his parting blow would be.
“Come on, Kinney! Let’s dance!” Emmett exclaimed, once again coming out of his drunken trance.
Brian sighed, “Not tonight. I left my dancing shoes at home.”
“Honey, when was the last time you brought them out?”
Brian only answered Emmett with a pat on the cheek. “Be careful, Em,” he said a little too gently, and then he was out the door.

Season Finale!
Here, we are. I can hardly believe it myself. Amy and I just want to let all of you know how much we truly appreciate your support. We are so happy that there are others that enjoy mediocre writing just because it is about these characters that we love. And that is what it's about. As the months have gone on since the real series finale, I know we have all felt a slump in the fandom. Amy and I have had many a conversation where we say, "Damn, I miss QAF." Sometimes it just hits us. This is why we absolutely had to continue the series with our small contribution. I personally thought that if we didn't continue it, I would suffer a nervous breakdown! Now, I'm feeling a little more sane (with the exception of all my final papers I haven't written making me batty) but we will be rejoining our folks for another virtual season in a few months, so don't worry. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. See you in February.

***Justin’s Apartment***
Brian was sprawled out on the couch on his stomach, flipping through the pages of Men’s Health. He occasionally stole glances up at Justin who was quietly painting in the corner. He yawned loudly and turned over on his back, tossing his arm over his head and exposing some of his abdomen. He looked over at Justin who was pretending not to notice. He sighed dramatically and watched as Justin focused on his painting, contorting his face and trying not to smile. Brian rolled his eyes and threw the magazine across the room, low to the ground. It hit Justin just above his ankle.
“You asshole! I coulda fucked up my painting! Why’d you do that?” Justin threw his brush down and stood over Brian, hand resting on hip.
“So you would talk to me,” Brian smirked, playfully. Justin was not amused.
“Asshole,” he murmured as he walked into the kitchen and opened the refrigerator. He found nothing and shut it loudly, staring at the vanilla colored appliance.
“You wanna go out?” Brian sat up and looked at Justin’s back expectantly.
“No, I don’t wanna go out,” Justin spat. Brian jumped off the couch and walked up behind him.
“What the fuck is your problem?”
Justin spun around and Brian trapped him against the refrigerator, leaning both hands on either side of him. Justin sighed, defeated. “Nothing.”
“You wanna tell me why I’ve been getting the silent treatment the past few days?”
Justin looked over to the sink and feigned a bored expression.
“Justin… Justin!”
“What?!” he yelled back in his face, finally turning to look at him.
Before the word was out of his mouth, Brian had covered his lips with his own, shoving a hand under his shirt to tease his nipple. Justin resisted and finally gave in, opening his mouth and letting him in. Justin let Brian have control and they kissed and kissed until Brian was out of breath. They were both panting, their lips swollen. Justin continued to let Brian pin him against the refrigerator. Brian searched Justin’s eyes and Justin just stared back at him.
“What,” he repeated, quieter this time.
“Just tell me what you’re thinking…so we can deal with it.”
“We?”
Brian looked at him incredulously, as if there was ever any other answer.
“I’m not happy here,” Justin said matter-of-factly. “And…I don’t think I ever will be.”
Brian, blinked, just listened, and nodded, waiting for him to continue.
“Brian,” Justin cupped his cheek in his hand, “What if I said, I wanna come home?”
Brian’s breath caught in his throat and he didn’t hide his surprise. He shrugged away from Justin’s hand and leaned against the counter. Justin stepped away from the refrigerator and closed the space between them.
“Brian?” he asked quietly. He sounded young and small and Brian couldn’t help the small smile that came and went from his lips before Justin had time to notice. He cleared his throat and looked Justin in the eye.
“What if I said…you can’t…leave, again. If you come home again…that’s it, that’s… Don’t…leave me, again.”
It was a question, not a demand. Brian looked up into Justin’s eyes and waited for his answer.
