  Early in the season Brian gives Justin a 21st birthday gift that has to be seen to be believed. Hunter drops the name Montgomery and adopts Novatiny-Bruckner. Mel and Linds tell their friends they are no longer together. Debbie befriends a new waitress. Emmett finds a career on tv. Ted continues to put his troubled past behind and moving upward in the community. Michael and Ben enjoy newlywed bliss.

By midseason things start to heat up,starting with another surprise passing, Lindsay. This opens the door to high tensions between Mel and Brian over Gus. Also Lindsay's parents continue to give Mel grief during the funeral arrangements. Justin again will start to grow frustrated by Brian's hot and cold moods, prompting him to strongly concider moving to LA. Michael gets a surprise call, from David. Nothing much here, just David wishing him all the best giving final closure. Ben introduces Michael to his family. Craig (Justin's father) still shuns Justin and even has him arrested. Brian and Claire bury the hatchet, but Joanie still remains the same. Em gets a shock when Drew is outed and gives up everything to be with him again. Debbie and Carl tie the knot. Ted runs into an old trick, Troy and gets revenge with this one night stand. After Hunter and Callie call it quits, for good this time, he is tempted to hustle again.



In the final ends of the season Ted and Blake find their way to each other again, this time for good. Em and Drew also reunite for good. Debbie wins the lottery and her and Carl move away. Mel remains in Pittsburgh with the baby as well as Ben and Michael, who wants to continue to be there for his daughter. Hunter stays with Ben and Michael and graduates high school and plans for college. Justin moves to LA and Brian stays in Pittsburgh, although they both share an extremely touching goodbye where Brian does tell Justin he loves him, but in this case to love someone means letting go. Brian makes it known he still remains the king of liberty avenue and he isnt going anywhere. Michael is happy Brian stays, but yet does also share a touching moment with Justin before he goes to LA. The final scene will end with Brian, Michael and Justin

  this is 100% true and also reasonable for typical Brian, who had said the same words "love means letting go" with Micheal's case in S1. and there is a great expectation before Justin in LA not in Pittzbug.

说不定留点悬念拍，第六季呢。
至于和约到期也没有关系，只要收视率足够，制片人会用金钱诱惑他的。

The new version of ScottLowell.com is scheduled to be launched this coming Monday, January 24. Dean Armstrong's website has also been redesigned. The current projects page informs us that Dean will be back to play Blake in the fifth and final season of QAF. "From meth addict to addiction councilor, Blake’s journey comes full circle in this exciting last chapter." Be sure to visit some of the QAF photos if you haven't already seen them. There are photos of QAF Events and photos from the QAF set.

QAF is mentioned in Entertainment Weekly's mid-season television preview... "Republicans, beware: As W heads into a second term, the unapologetic series' fifth and final season will have an even more unapologetic political agenda. Both Ben and Michael's Canadian marriage and recently split Melanie and Lindsay's custody battle take center stage."

Thea Gill tells MelanieLovesLindsay.com that this season will be very dark and that her character is taking a new direction, in keeping with the "all bets are off" slogan.
