In a city of 4 million people, it's easy to become somebody nobody knows. We come here to become something, but, for a lot of us, we become something ... else. We build our cocoons and crawl inside of them. Something happens within these private walls, a change, a metamorphosis, a becoming. Only finally break through to the other side, it is a new world. We have a hunger, we have a thurst, for a what-could-be, or a, what-once-was. Here, everything is beautiful, and everything is ugly. In between this tension is where I live. But I'm not alone. I've been searching, but, there is no finding. I just want a job. I just want a coffee. We are the choices we make. I am hungry. I am thursty. How did it start? Where will it end? Before I knew it, there are others worse off than me. We can all use a little mercy.
