Here's the update:

FFG will be available for rental starting January (don't know where yet as Gaiam
is distributing, but they will get me the info when they have them).

FFG will be available for sale starting in January (same time as rental) from
the official website only: http://www.facebook.com/l/ea559;fallingforgrace.com (and of course, we would prefer that everyone buys from us because we will make
slightly more if fans bought from website - we still have to buy the DVD from
distributor). We will also work in some incentives for fans to buy from us
directly - working out details now.

March 9th - DVD will be widely available in stores in North America.

Met Gale last week in L.A. to do commentary. We had a great time, hung out and had a fab lunch! Took some pics and will upload on facebook!

她和Gale上星期在洛杉矶碰面给FFG做评论（就是类似POT里面的导演和主要演员边看边说），还一起吃了个很棒的午饭!

Last update: February 17, 2009
Two messages from Fay Ann Lee:
"So FALLING FOR GRACE won't be opening in New York or L. A. theatrically in April any more. There has been a switch in our distribution agenda. Our sales agent has told us that television especially in Europe has been very interested in buying "Grace" but some countries would prefer, actually require, that we don't open theatrically. In order to sell to those countries, we decided to sell to U. S. television as well. This way perhaps we'll reach a far larger number of viewership. DVDs will soon follow."

"FALLING FOR GRACE will be opening the Reel Film Festival for Women March 27th, 8:00 p.m., at Laemmle's Music Hall 3 in Beverly Hills"

似乎有欧洲国家的电视台想买FFG，而且要求Fay不要在美国公映FFG，所以Fay听从欧洲那边的要求，并且一并卖给美国的电视台，然后出DVD。

3月27号在洛杉矶比佛利山仍然有FFG的试映。

关于网站现在提供的Trailer&clips，有两个版本的trailer：avi和wmv。两个版本的我都下下来看过了，avi的那个有问题，realplayer无法播放而MPC的就有图像无声音；wmv那个版本的有很大杂音。
sunburst在19楼提供下载的那个版本是目前找到的最好的，清晰完整的trailer。谢谢em23

Folks, a good friend of mine, Pat Roberts, has had a lot of contact over the last few months with Fay Lee, director/writer/star of Gale's movie `East Broadway' and they've been discussing distribution ideas.

Fay isn`t wanting to go to DVD at this time. She still wants to get the film into theaters for more exposure and one of the questions they`ve been asked on several occasions from film people is "Is there a fan base or interest out there for this movie?" Fay was not truly aware (Pat has since enlightened her!) that Gale has such a huge following.

Fay has asked Pat to get the word out to the fans to do the following so we can get the right people interested in getting this movie distributed in to the theaters. To do this we need to show that there is an interested audience.

Therefore, she is asking everyone she knows to email all of our Gale/QAF friends and ask them to do the following:

Go to www.eastbroadwaythemovie.com then go to SPECIAL FEATURES and click on Contact. Put in your email address to get future updates then email to eastbroadwaymovie@gmail.com. Say in your email that you would love to see this movie in theaters etc. etc and make sure you put in the email somewhere that you were either referred or emailed or contacted or talked to by or on behalf of Pat Roberts. The reason for putting Pat's name in the email is because Fay has 3 people that will be going through the emails and these people will be alerted to these emails first as true Gale Fans. Fay has Pat's name on her email to alert her when she sends an email to her. That way she gets the email and reads it and answers it quickly. She gets many emails everyday, that is why she has 3 people helping her go through them but Pat's name in the email will alert them to make sure she gets them first.

It would be good for this movie to get out into the theatres and not go straight to DVD, even though for those of us living outside the U.S. this would probably mean a delay to when we actually get to see it. But if it helps promote Gale, then that can only be good for him and all his fans in the long run.

很久没有更新这个帖子了...其实EB制作组筹备EB公映的工作一直在进行中。EB现在有自己的官网，Livejournal和Myspace了。之前有发Email到EB官网（http://www.eastbroadwaythemovie.com/）也会每月一次地收到他们的Updates。现在EB的公映已经有眉目了，找到了有兴趣的发行商，EB筹备组的人希望能够得到更多fans的投票支持。

2月1日，EB会走入耶鲁大学。在耶鲁大学电影社（Yale Film Society）和伯克利学院的合作下，East Broadway将会在耶鲁大学试映一场。

The screenplay was a quarterfinalist at the 2003 Nicholl Fellowship, a semi-finalist at The Chesterfield Screenwriting Competition in Los Angeles, and top three at the 2002 Asian American International Film Festival Screenwriting Competition. Lee produced and directed the short version of East Broadway and based on that, was invited to direct in New York's RipFest Short Film Festival in 2003. Lee's acting credits include: Miss Saigon, Joy Luck Club, Into The Woods. Lee is a graduate of The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Gale应该不会出席。
事实上自Suddenly Last Summer完满结束之后，Gale暂时消失在fans的视线范围内。em21 不过在连续四个月每周8场的无间断演出之后，Gale也需要好好休息一下吧...不要再像之前那样感冒了而又要带病工作...em21 em20

两个版本我都下过了，avi（80m）那个无法播放，用MPC有画面没有声音
wmv版本（24m）那个有很大杂音

综上所述，还是sunburst传的那个最好：）

另外我也找到了EB的themesong（谢谢小圣帮忙em26），网站上的一些图片我也整理了贴首层了。不过那个网站ms越来越“稳定”了em29

PS：宫爆鸡丁是213里面的。Gale的声音好听，说英文说中文都是一样好听的em23

喜欢他的低成本独立电影，觉得那时候的Gale自由！自由自在的Gale给人一种Brian般的美丽~~~~现在看到那么多电视剧客串，还有这种……嗯……浅薄的电影（别PIA，就是觉得浅薄）em02，觉得都能感觉到Gale硬生生地咽在喉咙里的委屈em20
估计我把Gale过于理想化了，也说不定他就是有奶就是娘的艺人而已em34

演活Brian的是Gale，演浅薄的EB也是Gale，演商业的vanished也还是Gale。Acting只是一个职业，没人会和钱作对的。我觉得Gale骨子里就是一个play it cool的人，是独立电影也好商业运作也好，他也还是那个样子...没人可以埋没他的个性，因为他是Gale Harold。

PS：那个引起大家不安的女的不是女主角，是女主角的好朋友（如果她是女主角em40...我会杀人的）有张超大的图是女主角和她这位好朋友女士的，我没有贴上来...以免影响国民身心健康＝＝

D大可能冤枉Gale了吧，这片子自编自导自演，一看就是独立制作，情节对我们来说好像很无聊，可他可能觉得有意义呢，反映少数族裔的生活。

Folks, a good friend of mine, Pat Roberts, has had a lot of contact over the last few months with Fay Lee, director/writer/star of Gale's movie `East Broadway' and they've been discussing distribution ideas.

Fay isn`t wanting to go to DVD at this time. She still wants to get the film into theaters for more exposure and one of the questions they`ve been asked on several occasions from film people is "Is there a fan base or interest out there for this movie?" Fay was not truly aware (Pat has since enlightened her!) that Gale has such a huge following.

Fay has asked Pat to get the word out to the fans to do the following so we can get the right people interested in getting this movie distributed in to the theaters. To do this we need to show that there is an interested audience.

Therefore, she is asking everyone she knows to email all of our Gale/QAF friends and ask them to do the following:

Go to www.eastbroadwaythemovie.com then go to SPECIAL FEATURES and click on Contact. Put in your email address to get future updates then email to eastbroadwaymovie@gmail.com. Say in your email that you would love to see this movie in theaters etc. etc and make sure you put in the email somewhere that you were either referred or emailed or contacted or talked to by or on behalf of Pat Roberts. The reason for putting Pat's name in the email is because Fay has 3 people that will be going through the emails and these people will be alerted to these emails first as true Gale Fans. Fay has Pat's name on her email to alert her when she sends an email to her. That way she gets the email and reads it and answers it quickly. She gets many emails everyday, that is why she has 3 people helping her go through them but Pat's name in the email will alert them to make sure she gets them first.

It would be good for this movie to get out into the theatres and not go straight to DVD, even though for those of us living outside the U.S. this would probably mean a delay to when we actually get to see it. But if it helps promote Gale, then that can only be good for him and all his fans in the long run.

Hello there!  I am Cheryl, an Associate Producer of East Broadway.

很久没有更新这个帖子了...其实EB制作组筹备EB公映的工作一直在进行中。EB现在有自己的官网，Livejournal和Myspace了。之前有发Email到EB官网（http://www.eastbroadwaythemovie.com/）也会每月一次地收到他们的Updates。现在EB的公映已经有眉目了，找到了有兴趣的发行商，EB筹备组的人希望能够得到更多fans的投票支持。

2月1日，EB会走入耶鲁大学。在耶鲁大学电影社（Yale Film Society）和伯克利学院的合作下，East Broadway将会在耶鲁大学试映一场。

East Broadway is Fay Ann Lee's feature directorial debut. The screenplay was a quarterfinalist at the 2003 Nicholl Fellowship, a semi-finalist at The Chesterfield Screenwriting Competition in Los Angeles, and top three at the 2002 Asian American International Film Festival Screenwriting Competition. Lee produced and directed the short version of East Broadway and based on that, was invited to direct in New York's RipFest Short Film Festival in 2003. Lee's acting credits include: Miss Saigon, Joy Luck Club, Into The Woods. Lee is a graduate of The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
